Dedicate it to my favorite and faithful friend: Dawn The TV program Friends is my favorite one of the TV program because it is funny show about ordinary people like my friends and me. None of the characters on the show are perfect people. Sometime they get into some trouble on screen and they try to cheat on each other, but they just make each feel silly. Finally, they always tall truth each other and help each other to get out of the trouble. In my presentation, I can not be able to summarize all episodes of Friends in this diary. I just try to summarize the first episode and Ross and Rachel’s story. In this episode, Ross got first divorce from his wife Carol. His wife left him and lived other woman together because she was a lesbian. Ross got very bad mood and was hurting. He didn’t want to be a single and want to be married again. All his friends tried to comfort him and help him. Joey is Ross’s one of the best friends. Joey told Ross: “there is no just one woman in the world. You should ask other woman out.” Ross answered: “You want me to ask other woman out, but who am I gonna ask.” Then Joey asked Ross, your wife got the furniture, the stereo, the good TV. What did you get? Ross thought a while and answered: “I got you guys. I got all my friends.” Rachel was Monica’s classmate in high school. When Rachel appears on the show first time, she wore a wedding dress running into the coffee house. She tried to find Monica because Monica was her only friend in the city. Rachel escaped from her wedding ceremony because she thought that she didn’t love Barry. He is a dentist. Then Barry went to South America to take the honeymoon with other woman who is Rachel’s maid of honor. Rachel cut off the relationship between her and Barry and gave the wedding ring back to Barry. Ross is Monica’s old brother. He has known Rachel since was a high school student. He has crushed on Rachel for a long time. He love Rachel and Rachel love Ross too. One time, Ross told Rachel he wants to ask her out. Rachel just answered: “maybe”. Then Ross told Rachel she love her for a long time. He said: “I love you and I hope you live me.” Rachel answered: “I’m not sure.” But Ross never gives up. In the last episode of Friends, Finally, Ross and Rachel got married. Every time I watch this TV program. It always makes me think about something. What are the best friendship and the relationship of family? How to treat your friends or your wife? The character’s friendship each other in the TV show set a good example for me to follow. In my opinion, the best friendship or family should be built on the honesty and loyalty. You never try to cheat on your wife or your friends because lying others is lying yourself. When you meet a big trouble or you stand in the dark, your best friends or your wife never leave you away. They must give you some support, help and comfort when you are in the dark. So I can say: “Even I stand dark, I have many best friends. So I won’t give up. I won’t break down. I will be strong because I have so many good friends. |
